Yesterday was quite possibly the worst day on waterfront this year. It was rough. Really hard. Relationally and logistically. Things were said, walls were put up, attitudes were present. It was really hard for me. Definitely a rough day...
...But...today...was by far the best day on the waterfront this year!!! Thank you Jesus! It is 100 percent, completely because of the Lord. God is so good. Everything fell into place. Finally today, things were how they were supposed to be. It felt so right and so good. I have no idea what went differently today, nobody did anything differently, but somehow we finished set up way earlier than we have been, everyone was in great spirits, there were positive attitudes everywhere and I saw some things that I know made the Lord smile. And campers had fun! That's the most important part.
Thank you so much for all of your prayers. They are definitely making a difference. I can feel it. Thank you to whoever prayed for sunshine. The rain was wearing on our attitudes and yesterday it didn't rain as it was supposed to and today we got to see the sun! It was awesome. Please continue to pray for our summer staffers, that they would finish out these last four days strong. Please pray for our summer staffers who will be arriving shortly. Pray that the boat drivers and lifeguards all pass their tests! This makes a huge difference in the logistics of things. Please pray for each spot on the waterfront that God would strategically place the nine people he wants in those spots. Thank you so much for praying!
